it was a great function... mimi look pretty and phey look handsome...(just that he need to gain more fats) i felt like we were outsiders there... all the rockstars and cool2 people... but nvm, she invited us already... thank u for that. AND GUESS WHAT!!! WE ACTUALLY GET TO TAKE A PHOTO WITH THEM! WOOHOO... ok sorry.. a lil bit excited. and mimi created this one slideshow of her and phey love life journey. it's very nicely and cutely done... fahmy's the only one doing the acoustic for the day... never gonna take my life song by pinholes... he actually have a nicer voice than the usual vocalist... sorry abt that...

next up will be bachtiar and diyana...

met zad and we slack ard city hall. he treated us BK and we really appreciate that... it's great time since we last hang ard together as a full monroe.. hope it will last...

work was not tiring, but the jouney to and fro was the one which makes me sick... just imagine, i work at 11 and get off from my house at 8.45... isn;t it sickening? ahh, nvm. sacrifices for money is ok... i need lots of shopping... oh wee...

making me laugh, cheer me up when i'm sad, pamper me with their tender loving care...

all those times u wear me eyeliner(celak), buy me those 10cents flavoured ice sticks and chewing gum everyday back when i was little, all feel's so lost right now... was made your favourite grandchildren of all the rest makes me feel honoured... how i wish i could turn back time and cherish u more. i'm terribly sad, so sad cos i can't do that now. i feel so useless... all i can offer now is prayers, my long lost dearest grandparents.

ok, chelsea lost to liverpool in the semi final for champions league... saddening but nvm, i just witness them holding up F.A premier league trophy... to liverpool, ARSEnal and man united fans, w8 for 3-5 season more then maybe, just maybe they guys can carry the throphy back. :D

went to rushed ep launch on sat night at prince of wales with kit and red... met and hang around with mimi... wanna thank her for inviting us to her wedding... rushed was great as usual... just the crowd are not drunk enough... covered disco 2000 and take me out... greatness...

had a gig yest at chevy pub... we played 5 songs... crowd was quite dead in the begining... but eventually the started getting high... daisy chain, elise and 7 sundays kinda rocks the roof off... it's just the place was quite cramp... but overall the gig was a great one...

monroe will have one last gig on this friday over at prince of wales(little india)... after that, we'll might be taking a break due to our drummer enlistment to ns... just hope that he can make it for the gig with serenaide and model lipstique this coming july...

Had a jamming session with "Elizabeth Tommorow". Played an original which is really nice. It had some similarities ride Ox4... those shoegazing type... Hang ard with my mates at woodlands(of all places). Watch a japanese movie called, errmmm, i kinda forget the title... some girls playing in a jazz band... funny stuff... i like the drummer... haha...

ahhhh... at last, i'm updating... been a while heh... people kept bugging me to update... won't mention names (diy/ain and co.) oops... heh

nothing much... 2 gigs passed... both were great... carnaval were sweet memories... few new songs, i love it...

my mum was talking about buying a new computer this morning, not sure abt it but i'm happy if she does... so no more sucky coms... and no more depending on stupid school computers which i guess 90% of websites are forbidden. bleargh

well, sorry for not updating for quite a while... can't blame me... having problems with my monitor... just replaced one...

the past few weeks was really quite fun for me... especially new year's eve... went out with the guys... from 5 peeps evolving to 14 peeps...

i can't wait for tmr... after a long break from not jamming with Monroe, we'll be doing so tommorow... hah... just for fun tmr... yeah... we'll be heading for sheesha too...

and yeah, i guess the issues abt all these stupid stuff are over... i just hope we get back to normal... no hard feelings...

guys, come down and support zad performing with his band (Dyna Turmoil) this sunday held at substation... personally, i can say that dyna turmoil is one good band... enjoy watching them play... so i guess u peeps don't wan't to miss their performance.. and yeah, Tiramisu is playing too over at espanade this sun... to me, tiramisu is one of the great bands locally... their showmanship is brilliant..

HAHAHAHA!!!! I'm back blogging... after a few weeks i guess... heh... well, nothing much happens to me... just start working last 2 weeks ago at ain's auntie's restaurant... kinda ok, but the pay is not worth it... so i quit just a few days back... Hahaha... christmas is nearing and 2005 is nearing too... gosh, a year passed just like that... but nvm, just hope 2005 will be a good year for all of us...

previously had a jamming session with monroe... kinda ok... we ran out of songs... yest night had another jamming session with another band... a sideline one... with isa, syam, and errr, i kinda forgot his name... a chinese guy... he is formerly in a shoegazing band, pple used to called his band, "the verve" in singapore... that's what syam told me lar... dunnoe if it's true... but he plays guitar very well... yest was our first jamming session... played "ride" songs...

1stly, "the shutter" is one hell of sickening movie... lots of shocking scenes in that movie.. and all of it are at unexpected times... it's like u dun have a clue when the ghost gonna appear... some funny scenes too... heh... i feel like shouting but diy beside me wasn't, so i just kept quite... heh... u need to scream then u feel great... unlike other asian horror movies which appeals boring to me, the shutter is an exception. i give it 4 out of 5.

Met diy at dhoby ghaut at 4.06. we supposed to meet at 4! heh... we wanted to catch the 4.55 slot but it's already full house. so we tried going to lido and found out they're not showing shutters... how funn.. so we were thinking of goin bishan to watch there but diy found out that they're showing at night too... so we proceed back to plaza singapura for the 2nd time to but the tix... walk ard town and we saw people playing the song "addicted" by simple plan and "the reason" on acoustic... i was going "that's so rad!!!" ahaha... after that we proceed back to plaza singapura for the 3rd time to catch the movie...

When proceeding home, saw zad and his friends at city hall... and zad told me jennywawa was there. and i was going "mane? mane titu perempuan?!!" hah, can't believe that kinda person exist... ok nvm abt her...

Ok it's gonna be a boring week for me... no schools, no plans and no whatsoever... just sit at home and rot!

What's the story morning glory

Ok, had a really fun time these past two days... We (the 4 monroe's), ain, hazirah, siti, sulaiman and izwan went jalan raya... kinda islandwide i can say... can say that we're the noisiest crowd all along... went to ain house without isa cause he had some "problems". take note of the ". the food at ain's house was superb that it may just kill us. then one after another's house... we ended last at zad's house and we stayed till 11p.m. had real fun.

The following day, that is today, we had another great time too... monroe is recording with the help of boon(ain's sister) we recorded 2 originals titled "Everybody needs sometime" and "The man who went away". Again, Siti and haz was there again... they were there to help ain bake hershey's brownies and blueberry muffins. yummy.. but i didn't taste the muffins... sheesh... siti had to went off early... she miss all the fun. isa as usual came late... start recording without him... took a long time to record just one song... and we have to crack our brains at that moment cos zad lose the lyrics to one of the song, but nvm... we had sheesha in boon's room... yeah, "these drugs won't work" (extracted frm the verve) ain's/boon's house is an ideal place to hang out... alot of stuffs we can do there... we left at ard 10.30... haz been scolded by her mum for going home late... so me, haz and zad took a cab frm jurong... that's like travelling in a taxi from one end to the another... it cost us abt 20+.

Ok, my senses was wrong... i thought sly would win over taufik for the crown of singapore idol. Initially to me, sly had a bigger fan base than taufik... i was proven wrong. Ok nvm, i'm nt a fan of singapore idol either... They are sure making lots of money by the nationwide sms and calls. Clever bastards.

Well, the problem watching programmes with my family is that they would give their comments and thoughts every minute and then. And my uncles and aunties came to my house for gathering today... More disturbance to my concentration on tv. k shoots...

Two bunch of girls played prank on me today. Don't mention names. One of them sms me, "Farhan, can give me your address? i wanna send u a christmas card" Foolishly, i gave them my address. Later i had a call asking me to open the door. Their faces are there... Yeah, u'r rite. A surprise visit. Sheesh. My dad initially thought they were some door to door salesgirls wondering abt the corridor. Ok nvm. It was nice of them to drop by anyway. but unluckily, at the wrong time. heh

Yeah, waiting for tmr. Go "jalan raya" with Monroe and some other friends... It will be a one fun outing... i guess.. i can sense that isa will be late tmr... heh, that's normal... we'll all be in baju kurung... and kit too... even though he's chinese... heh...

And to diy, remember! this saturday.. THE SHUTTERS.

K finally get a grip with this thing... 1stly i wanna say thanks to bachtiar for the picture... and to the two idiots who tag me.... initially, it was a layout frm blogskins.com and with pictures of the beatles. i changed it to monroe's pic taken during our yishun park gig recently... a really nice pic shot by bachtiar.. thks again.

I don't really know what come over me to do a blog for myself again after quite some time... maybe due to boredom of sitting at home during the hols. can't guarantee i will update oftenly...

K, for now, our(monroe) recording will not happen soon... cause some unseen problem occured... yeah nvm. hopefully our upcoming gig will be confirmed... we need more gig slots...
